Events
The Sindh Softball Association works year round for the promotion of the game of Softball across the various districts in Sindh. Throughout the year the association works to organise events where the best players of their respective districts may showcase their talents and their prowess in the game of softball. Through these events, the best of the best are found and selected to represent in external events.
Exhibition Match at Karachi Gymkhana
On the 19th of October 2019, the Sindh Softball Association in collaboration with Japan Consulate organised a Exhibition Match.
Independence Day Celebration 2019
On the 7th of August 2019, the Sindh Softball Association celebrated Independence Day at Trinity School.
6th Inter-Divisional Women Softball Championship 2019
In April of 2019, the Sindh Softball Association organised the 6th Inter-District Women Softball Championship in Hyderabad. The tournament started on the 26th of April and continued on for the next two days. Our honourable chief guest, Mr Abid Mehmood Sheikh, CEO Indus Valley Tourism hit the opening shot to begin the championship. Mr M. Zeeshan Merchant, General Secretary of Sindh Softball Association was present to show him the ropes.
Sports For Life Pakistan Day Sports Festival 2019
On the 21st of March 2019, the Sindh Softball Association in collaboration with the Sindh Olympic Association conducted a tournament in celebration of Pakistan Day as part of the Pakistan Day Sports Festival 2019. The event was co-sponsored by Sports For Life. We had Mr Ahmed Ali Rajput the Secretary-General of the Sindh Olympic Association present as our special guest. Mr Muhammad Zeeshan Merchant was present to receive him.
14th National Women Softball Championship 2018
The 14th National Women Softball Championship 2018 took place in Baluchistan, hosted by the Baluchistan Softball Association in collaboration with the Baluchistan Sports Board. The tournament was set to go on for three days, it began on the 5th of November 2018 and concluded on the 7th of November 2018. The Softball Federation of Pakistan's President Mr Haider Khan Lehri had appointed BSA’s Naseem Khan as the Organizing Secretary for the championship.
Sindh Games Women Softball Championship 2018
In April of 2018, the Sindh Softball Association in Collaboration with the Sports and Youth Affairs Department of the Government of Sindh hosted a Women's Softball Tournament as part of the Sindh Games 2018. The Sindh Games were hosted by Karachi and the various events took place in NED University of Engineering and Technology. Our honourable guest for the event was Mr Mohsin Khan, Senior Vice-President of Pakistan Baseball Federation and President of Sindh Baseball Association.
